Island of Murter

The island of Murter is the largest and most populated island of the Šibenik archipelago separated from the mainland by the narrow Murter channel. On the island of Murter you will find beautiful beaches and bays such as Slanica and Čigrađa. There are 4 settlements on Murter; Betina, where we recommend a visit to the Betina Museum of Wooden Shipbuilding, Jezera – by some the most beautiful settlement on the island, Murter – a beautiful place with a picturesque historical center and Tisno which is connected to the island by a drawbridge.
